Phillys Games Launches Inaugural Charity Golf Day in Tembisa
Today marks a historic expansion of the Phillys Games legacy as we swap the football pitch for the fairway. We are proud to host our first-ever Annual Charity Golf Day, a cornerstone initiative of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program designed to unite the South African business community for a singular purpose: community upliftment.
The Phillys Games have always been about more than just the “beautiful game”; they are about the heartbeat of Tembisa. By gathering business leaders and entrepreneurs together for a round of golf, we are creating a powerful networking platform where every swing contributes to a donation pool for those who need it most.
Driving Support to Five Key Beneficiaries
For this inaugural event, the Phillys Games have carefully sourced five different beneficiaries within Tembisa—the very birthplace of our tournament. Our goal is to ensure that the success of our brand translates into tangible resources for local institutions, including:
A local Primary School and High School to support future scholars.
A dedicated Orphanage Home providing a safety net for vulnerable children.
A Disability Center focused on inclusive care and empowerment.
A Plea for Smiles
As the players take to the course today, our mission remains clear. Whether through financial contributions or resource donations, the Charity Golf Day is set to prove that when business and sport collide, the community wins.
We thank all our partners and participants for joining us on this journey. Today isn’t just about the score on the card; it’s about the lives we change off the course.
