Rain or Shine, Philly’s Games Day 2 Delivers in Tembisa

Despite challenging weather conditions, Philly’s Games 2025 continued in full force on Sunday, 21 December 2025, at Ma Seven, Ivory Park, Tembisa. With kick-off starting at 10:00, the message of the day was clear:
“Come rain, come sunshine – we will play!”

Fans were treated to another action-packed day as Day 2 of the tournament delivered grit, determination, and big-match moments during the festive football showcase.

Day 2 Match Results

Game 1: Mogodumo United vs Legends Café
Legends Café claimed the advantage in the first leg, winning 2–1. Mogodumo United now have work to do heading into the return leg.
Game 2: Sunrise FC vs Phaphama FC
The match was locked at 0–0 at half-time, but Phaphama FC struck the decisive goal in the second half to secure victory.

Game 3: Futhi Futhi FC vs Abarondoli FC
In a tightly contested encounter, Abarondoli FC edged the battle, taking the game 1–0 at full time.
Game 4: Rinkase 11 FC vs Shaka United FC
The much-anticipated Pretoria Derby lived up to expectations, with Rinkase 11 FC emerging victorious 2–0.
